Salts Farm Shop opened its doors in September 2010. It was set up by Peter & Judith Anthony on what was then Judith’s family farm. Judith's sister Anne then joined the shop to help run it and recently Peter & Judith's son Matthew has joined the team. It truly is a family affair. The shop was the result of an idea to create a unit stocked with as much local produce as possible and many of our products are sourced from suppliers within a few miles of here with our meat coming not only from the family farm (when in season) but also from Park Farm Butchers in Hawkhurst - all of it free range.
We also have a small café area serving fantastic Illy Coffee as well as a variety of teas. If you are in need of a little refreshment, our filled rolls are available to eat in or take away with bacon definitely the most popular or maybe you fancy a cream tea or slice of locally made sponge cake.
Our aim is to provide good quality everyday essentials as well as some of those little luxury treats we all need in life. We offer a welcoming and friendly environment with staff who are passionate and knowledgeable about quality local produce.
