We know how fortunate we are as a business and as a team. Over our 10+ years, we have enjoyed many opportunities to give something back. Here are just a few of the activities that support the values we share.
Rye Food Bank
We make a regular donation to Rye Food Bank, which we deliver together with food and cash donations from our good-hearted customers.
Cancer Research UK
In 2020 Holly raised hundreds for Cancer Research by live streaming her head shave on Facebook. From shiny to luscious locks, we have enjoyed every stage of her regrowth.
In 2018 we organised various events for our Cancer Research fundraising week including a 100 mile ride challenge.
Local Defibrillator
Early in 2020, after two years of fundraising with support from the villagers of East Guldeford, other businesses and Rother Responders, we got a defibrillator installed for public use. Money-raising activities included book sales, craft sales and Boules competitions.
Other Fundraising
In February 2018 Anne and Pete ran the Hastings Half Marathon, raising £590 for St Michael’s Hospice.
Until 2020 we had a Mind Charity collection box for tips and donations, between customers and ourselves we have contributed over £600
